Super easy and delicious is this cake with sour cherries and mulberry marmalade , which I prepared last weekend , because I had nothing sweet and only two eggs . So after a short search I found this recipe in a magazine and decided to check what will be the result , to my delight proved successful !
WHAT YOU NEED :
1 teacup sugar
1/2 teacup sunflower oil
1 teacup water
2 teacups flour
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teacup marmalade
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO :
1.Preheat the oven . Beat with the mixer eggs and sugar until double their volume .
2.Then add the oil and water and beat again . After that add the flour , beat well .
3.Finally , mix the baking soda and marmalade and pour them in the final mixture + vanilla , beat well .
4.Bake the cake in moderate oven ( I used 28 cm baking form , covered with baking foil ) for about 30 minutes . Once cool , sprinkled with powdered sugar . Don’t worry about the color of the dessert if it becomes purple , because after baking everything will be fine !
